Ring Sizing Guide

Finding the perfect fit is essential. A well-fitted ring should slide on comfortably and feel snug without being tight. Use our guide below to determine your size at home, or visit a local jeweller for a professional measurement.

Find Your Size

Method 1: String or Paper Strip

What you need: A thin strip of paper or non-stretchy string, a pen, and a ruler with millimetre markings.

  1. Wrap the paper or string snugly around the base of the finger you want to size.
  2. Mark the point where the end meets the wrapped strip.
  3. Lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres from the end to the mark.
  4. Use the size chart below to find your ring size based on the circumference.

Tip: Measure at the end of the day when fingers are slightly larger. Avoid measuring when hands are cold, as fingers shrink in cooler temperatures.

Method 2: Measure an Existing Ring

If you already own a ring that fits the desired finger well:

  1. Place the ring on a flat surface.
  2. Measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimetres (from inner edge to inner edge).
  3. Use the size chart below to match the diameter to your ring size.

Tip: Make sure the ring you measure fits the same finger you're buying for. Ring sizes differ between fingers and hands.

Sizing Tips & Common Mistakes

Do:

  • Measure 2–3 times for accuracy
  • Measure at the end of the day
  • Measure in room temperature
  • Consider the width of the ring — wider bands (6mm+) fit tighter, so go up half a size

Don’t:

  • Measure when hands are cold or after exercise
  • Use stretchy materials (elastic, yarn) to measure
  • Assume both hands are the same size — your dominant hand is usually slightly larger
